VSLS (pronounced vessels) is the work of San Francisco composer Travis Johns. His new record, Mixxes originally began as a commission for performer/masseur Jeremie Chetrit to use in his body work sessions. We felt the end result was too good to keep sequestered in a massage studio. We proudly give to you Mixxes, a record you can leave on for days at a time. |

LandSpaceWaterFaith is the debut from Brooklyn’s psychedelic/goth/newage/noise group SYMBOL. A collage of artists and musicians, Symbol’s diverse background ranges from chamber music to working on sound installations with Maryanne Amacher to guitar/feedback tricks learned from Lou Reed and psychedelic listening sessions of Iasos and Enya.
Sublime yet grotesque, Symbol’s chaos sound environments range from majestic drunken renaissance music to light/video/action performances to epic noise drones. Symbol is known as the house band for Paris London West Nile, the Brooklyn experimental arts venue run by members of the group. Included on this album are: Zeljko McMullen, Doron Sadja, Mario Diaz de Leon, Brooke Gillespie, MV Carbon, and Justin Craun.
